Our client, located in Richmond Hill, is looking for a talented CAD Technician/SolidWorks Designer to join their growing team! This is entry to intermediate level with 3-5 years of experience in providing planning, drawing/models and design support to the project team. It's an excellent opportunity to be part of end-to-end project process and to grow with a reputable organization.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in-office (Richmond Hill).

Industry: Manufacturing/Engineering

What you'll need to have:

• An Associate of Applied Science Degree/diploma in drafting OR Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or design OR C.E.T.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience working in a CAD Specialist position or the equivalent, producing drawings and models using SolidWorks
• SolidWorks experience is a 'must have'
• CAD certification is an asset
• Experience in low voltage/medium voltage power distribution equipment and cable management systems
• Experience in 3D drawing
• Knowledge of engineering specifications (CSA, NEC, etc.) is an asset
• Solid understanding of CAD standards
• Canadian education
• Minimum of either Canadian PR status or Canadian Citizen to qualify for this role AND be selected for an interview
