At CI, we see a great place to work as one that is a safe place for everyone to have a voice, where people are empowered to take ownership over meaningful work, where there is an opportunity to grow through stretching themselves, where they can work on innovative products and projects, and where employees are supported and engaged in doing so.

As a Client Reporting Associate, you will support the preparation, production, and delivery of client reports, including trade confirmations, client statements, CRM2 reports, and supplementary tax packages across CI Wealth lines of business. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in financial services or wealth management operations. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting while gaining experience with regulatory requirements and operational processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Client Reporting Support:
    • Assist with the preparation and quality review of trade confirmations, client and custodian statements, CRM2 reports, and supplementary tax packages.
    • Help ensure reports meet client preferences, branding standards, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Support data reconciliation activities to maintain accuracy and consistency across systems.
    • Perform quality checks to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies in reporting.
  • Process and Systems:
    • Work with team members to learn and operate reporting platforms and book-of-record systems.
    • Support efforts to automate and streamline reporting processes under guidance from senior team members.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of reporting processes and procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Liaise with internal teams such as Technology, Compliance, Client Experience, and other Wealth Operations teams to help address reporting needs.
    • Respond to routine inquiries or escalate more complex questions to senior team members.
    • Assist with preparing materials and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Learning:
    • Develop understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., CIRO, CSA).
    • Participate in team training sessions related to compliance, client service, and reporting tools.
    • Support audit and compliance activities by gathering required documentation and data.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of experience in client reporting, operations, or a related role within wealth management or financial services – internships or co-op experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of financial products, client reporting, or regulatory requirements is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new software tools.
  • Good organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced financial environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data management, or programming (SQL, Python) is a bonus, but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work Environment: Office setting or hybrid (if applicable).
  • Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility as needed.
  • Travel: Minimal, based on business needs.
