Public Space Attendant

Schedule: As operations require, including weekends and statutory holidays

About the Role

Our Public Space Attendants are the ones who keep Pacific Sands looking beautiful from the ground up. Whether its tending to pathways, outdoor spaces, or public areas, your work ensures that every guest experiences the resort at its best. Youll play a hands-on role in maintaining the welcoming, polished environment that makes our oceanfront property so special.

What Youll Do

• Deliver friendly, 5-star service when interacting with guests and staff
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of walkways, parking lots, roadways, and public areas
• Operate tools and equipment (mowers, tractors, blowers, clippers, etc.) safely and effectively
• Care for outdoor amenities, building exteriors, and windows
• Monitor and service garbage/recycling bins, dog stations, and ashtrays
• Perform small repairs or maintenance on tools, equipment, and resort structures
• Respond to guest inquiries or requests with a helpful attitude
• Report maintenance issues to the Property Operations Manager promptly
• Work closely with Guest Services and Housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow safety guidelines and be prepared for emergencies
• Take on other property care projects as needed

What Were Looking For

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, responsible, and guest-service oriented
• Valid drivers license required
• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience is an asset
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate weight, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and be on your feet for long periods
