Job Title:
Construction Estimator (5–10 Years Experience)
Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator with 5–10 years of experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to assess project requirements, interpret drawings and develop competitive cost estimates. This is a key role within our pre-construction team, contributing directly to our growth and success across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify take-offs and project scope.
Solicit and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing.
Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure budget alignment and alignment with project requirements.
Track cost trends and maintain the estimating database.
Participate in tender closings, contract negotiations, and project handoffs.
Conduct site visits as required to support accurate estimating.
Requirements:
5–10 years of experience in construction estimating (preferably commercial, institutional, or multi-residential)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proficiency with estimating software.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
