Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
Plan and oversee the day-to-day activities of Landscape Maintenance and Property Enhancement crews.
Coordinate schedules and ensure crews are equipped with the tools, materials, and information needed to complete jobs effectively.
Adapt to last-minute changes in schedules or priorities as needed.
Crew Oversight:
Supervise and support crew supervisors and team members, ensuring they meet company standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
Quality Control:
Inspect completed projects to ensure work meets the standards.
Address client feedback and ensure satisfaction with all services.
Leadership & Development:
Train, mentor, and develop supervisors and crew members to enhance their skills and performance.
Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between upper management, crew supervisors, and team members.
Communicate job details, deadlines, and expectations clearly to all parties.
Problem-Solving:
Anticipate and resolve operational challenges, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Reporting & Documentation:
Submit daily/weekly reports on crew performance, job progress, and any operational challenges.
Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment usage, and hours worked.
Qualifications:
Experience:
4+ years in the landscaping industry, with hands-on experience in both maintenance and property enhancement.
3+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing multiple crews.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with landscaping techniques, tools, and materials.
Requirements:
Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical stamina to perform occasional hands-on tasks if needed.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, scheduling software, etc.).
Schedule:
10 hour shift
Monday to Friday
On call
Weekends as needed
