Maintain knowledge of industry developments and best practices related to area of specialization and adapt them to the SHA's operational environment
- Plan, direct, coordinate and support provincial analytical activities including assessing any risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Advise and support Digital Health and other departments in matters pertaining to data management.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation), experience working directly with Senior Executives.
- Ensuring integration and interoperability across the complex and diverse data sources, including multiple instances and versions, in health care is essential.
- Ensuring data quality through accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timeliness of data is vital for patient care and operational decision-making.
- Ensuring that data handling processes meet regulatory standards and maintaining detailed audit trails for transparency and reporting.
- Develops, assists (where needed), and performs quality reviews of program documents, briefing notes, business cases, scope documents, charters, and change requests, ensuring content meets Program and stakeholder acceptance criteria.
- Develops or assists in the development of design documents, requirements analysis, testing plans, process flows, procedures and policies.
- Conducts workflow analysis and recommend improvements.
- Leads process review and improvement initiatives ensuring smooth transitions to new business and project execution workflows.
- Coordinates with other team members in the organization to create or improve workflows, gather business support content and define actions to move projects forward.
- Supports Project Managers with many aspects of project delivery including planning, risk management, deliverables, communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Engage clinicians and technical teams throughout design and testing
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Data Sciences, Information Technology
- Minimum 3 years' experience in data management, data architecture, or technology development
- Knowledge of legislation and applicable laws
- Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan an asset
