Position Title: General Labor (Seasonal)
Location: Leamington, ON N8H 3C6, CA
Duration: 1+ months Contract
Payrate: $20/hrShift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM
Work Schedule: Must be available Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM, which includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Workers are considered on-call during the week and are typically scheduled for only a couple of days each week.
Responsibilities & Duties:
This position involves a variety of physical and detail-oriented tasks. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Standing for up to 8 hours per day while performing repetitive tasks
Conducting general cleaning throughout work areas
Performing tomato yield testing, including:
Determining the usable portion of tomatoes
Recording initial weight/volume
Processing tomatoes
Weighing usable portions
Calculating yield percentages
Lifting and stacking items weighing up to 50 pounds
Working in various weather conditions
Engaging in physically demanding activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
Demonstrating strong attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion
Communicating effectively with team members
Following instructions and working independently
Maintaining reliable transportation to and from the work site
Exhibiting reliability, responsibility, and dependability in fulfilling job obligations
