The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Class A Gas Fitter for a unique and adventurous short-term project in British Columbia's alpine region near Brucejack. This project is ideal for someone looking to finish their summer with an unforgettable experience, combining hands-on work with high-mountain exploration. The position involves connecting and commissioning avalanche cannons and will run for approximately 3–4 weeks. You'll be working under Celtic Construction's gas licence for this scope

What Will You Do
- Hook up and pressure test gas lines to avalanche cannons
- Commission and troubleshoot systems
- Ensure work is completed safely and to code in remote alpine locations
- Travel via helicopter between locations and operate in varying outdoor conditions
- Communicate progress and issues clearly with project leadership
- High-pressure gas line installation and commissioning
- Troubleshooting mechanical system
- Interpreting technical specifications and safety codes
- Working in remote, high-risk environments
- Strong situational awareness and safety compliance
- Effective communication and reporting
- Adaptability and resilience in extreme weather or terrain
What You Bring
- Class A Gas Fitter Certification (BC ticket preferred)
- Comfort with remote work and flying in helicopters
- Strong communication and independent work capabilities
- A commitment to safety and professionalism
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to hub airports or to site
