About The Opportunity:

As a Dispatcher, youll play a crucial role in coordinating with the dispatch team, management, and drivers to ensure timely, efficient, and safe delivery operations. This position involves managing fleet utilization, addressing scheduling challenges, and maintaining high levels of customer service. Your role will require a strong understanding of regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients.

• Coordinate and plan with the dispatch team & Management to effectively and efficiently utilize the companys resources
• Effectively communicate specific requirements and procedures to drivers
• Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Recognize and address potential scheduling challenges
• Generate operational reports as required.
• Manage the utilization of fleet and monitor Drivers' hours of service.
• Complete ACE and ACI paperwork as required

About You:

• 2-3 years of dispatch experience, preferably specializing in hazardous materials (HAZMAT) transportation
• Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects actively
• Knowledge of MTO & DOT rules and regulations preferred
• Demonstrate a high level of customer care and service
• Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software
