The Opportunity

Grizzly Supplies is looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Surrey, British Columbia. As the Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all sales and business development activity in your assigned territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Outside Sales Representative your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the sales strategy and plan in your assigned territory

  • Retain and grow business relationships with top accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with decision makers within existing accounts, creating an ongoing relationship strategy

  • Review and provide input on target client opportunities while ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy

  • Conduct follow up with customers on orders, quotes and services requested

  • Source competitor information and analyze competitor product offerings, applications, and pricing to overcome client objections

  • Attend trade shows and conduct customer site visits when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications?

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 2 to 3 years in B2B equipment sales

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Business Management or a related discipline preferred

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) is considered an asset

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel

  • Experience working with hydraulics and hydraulic seals is a strong asset

  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $55,000, depending on experience, plus commission.

This is an onsite role based in Surrey, British Columbia.
