We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Part-Time Branch Administrator at our Kentville, NS location.
Schedule: 8:00am - 12:00pm, Monday-Friday (20 hours per week)
Purpose:
Performs a full range of administrative support duties for dealership location.
Responsibilities:
- Receives telephone calls , ensures they are directed to proper parties within the dealership
- Prepares bank deposits and balances cash receipts
- Travelling to bank to drop off deposit, get change as needed for parts dept
- Pick up mail and take care of other errands as needed by location.
- Post payments to AR accounts as received.
- Set up serialized parts on customer's account as invoices are received from parts dept.
- Distribute mail to proper individuals.
- Order office supplies as needed.
- Balance and replenish Petty Cash.
- Vendor machine deposits
- Complete all new hire clothing forms and order staff clothing as needed.
- Keep office and showroom area clean and organized as needed.
- Other admin tasks as required
- Provide administrative support to the sales, parts, and service departments.
- Assist other administrative staff as needed and other tasks as required by Management
Requirements and Skills:
- Solid clerical expertise
- General accounting knowledge
- Strong people and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
