Key Responsibilities:Compliance & Field Operations:
- Manage daily execution of TMHW pickups, manifests, and transport logistics.
- Conduct site assessments, confirm waste classification, labeling, and PPE requirements.
- Ensure strict compliance with TDG, WHMIS, SDS, and BC hazwaste regulations.
- Train and lead field crews, conduct spot-checks, and uphold quality standards.
- Maintain reporting systems for manifests, jobs, and compliance audits.
Team & Process Leadership:
- Build SOPs, training systems, and internal checklists for safety and efficiency.
- Identify inefficiencies in routing, staffing, or documentation—and propose solutions.
- Help maintain internal dashboards and operational KPIs.
Sales & Business Enablement:
- Collaborate with sales team to scope, price, and operationalize new jobs.
- Support client walkthroughs and site visits as a technical lead.
- Identify recurring service opportunities at depots, commercial sites, and institutions.
- Offer feedback to improve estimate accuracy, service packages, and client satisfaction.
- Help translate field insights into scalable business models.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in hazardous waste, waste logistics, or environmental field services.
- Strong command of TDG, WHMIS, SDS, and field safety practices.
- Comfortable managing crew in the field and advising clients with confidence.
- Experience supporting or closing sales—either through technical guidance or pricing support.
- Class 5 license required: Class 3 or Air Brake endorsement a plus.
- Bonus if you hold environmental compliance or hazmat certifications.
