EMERGENCY SERVICES COORDINATOR (Permanent, Full-time)
NATURE OF POSITION: Hiring two (2) Permanent, Full-time Emergency Services Coordinator positions. The Emergency Services Coordinator provides professional advice to the Regional Board on the administration and coordination of the Regional District's Emergency Program.
Under general supervision of the General Manager of Community Services, the Emergency Services Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of emergency plans and other preparedness, response and recovery measures for emergencies and disaster within its electoral areas.
This position may require incumbent to work evenings and weekends.
RATE OF PAY: $44.99 per hour (January 1, 2024 rate)

BENEFITS: In accordance with the Collective Agreement with C.U.P.E. Local 1699. This is a Union position.
