Like WCG, you believe in the power of work to transform lives. As a Finance Program Claims Coordinator, you will handle the review and reconciliation of claims in the PCVRS program. The coordinator is responsible for investigating and correcting payment PCVRS payment and invoicing discrepancies between our accounting system and our contract specific claims management system. This position will work closely with our Veterans Affairs contract initially but could expand to other WCG contracts in the future. This position will also process wire payments, stop payments and book correcting journal entries in our accounting system – Microsoft Business Central.
Additionally, this position would be responsible for reconciliations and could be tasked with performing some junior internal audit functions including checks and balances on invoicing, routine spot checks, and comparing revenue from the case management system to the accounting system to look for inconsistencies.
This is an administrative role that will suit a detail-oriented individual, with strong organizational and systems skills who is inquisitive and a problem solver. The role will work closely with the RSVP Finance Coordinator, PCVRS claims team, other Finance team members, and Director Finance. Additionally, this position requires a high level of confidentiality pertaining to client records and financial information.
What you'll do
- Maintain tracking sheet of all outstanding items along with details on the progress of each item
- Answer inquiries from internal staff regarding claims discrepancies and other administrative questions
- Prepare ad hoc reconciliations as required
- Reconcile claims and other amounts across multiple systems
- Investigate discrepancies, and communicate with appropriate team members and outside parties to resolve the issue as needed
- Process wire payments, stop payments and book correcting journal entries in accounting system, Microsoft Business Central, and in CaseFlo systems as necessary
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues as they arise
- May perform some internal audit functions such as spot audits
- Collaborate in the process of identifying areas of weakness, inefficiency and ineffectiveness in systems and processes within WCG and help implement improvements
- Maintain and share an up-to-date knowledge of new technology, processes, and policy to improve capability

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented in a fast-paced continually changing environment
- Previous experience in claims processing and/or accounting
- High level of confidentiality; employment contingent on Security Clearance – Reliability Status
Preferred Requirements:
- 2 years' experience in accounting field or claims processing
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central
