We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Detail Lead to oversee and elevate the performance of our Detail and Glass Department within our Collision Center. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction in every vehicle delivered. You will manage and support a team of detailers, conduct final vehicle inspections, and collaborate closely with production and front-office teams to maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise, coach, and schedule the detail team to ensure timely and high-quality vehicle detailing.
  • Provide training and continuous feedback to improve team performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Manage team members of the detail department.
  • Detail vehicle and oversee other detailers.

Quality Assurance

  • Perform final inspections on all vehicles prior to customer delivery, verifying repair quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
  • Address and resolve quality issues promptly, working with production and paint departments when necessary.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet or exceed customer and OEM standards.

Process & Efficiency

  • Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the detailing process and work to improve them.
  • Notify the appropriate departments of deficiencies to ensure timely delivery of the vehicle.

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in the detail and delivery areas.
  • Ensure team compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a collision repair or automotive detailing environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle detailing procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Sharp eye for detail with high standards for quality and cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
