Your next Career: Assembler/ General Labourer - Day Shift - 7:30am to 4:30 pm, Mon to Fri.
Job Purpose
Working within a team setting, assemblers are in charge of the physical assembly of the Calstone products.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, customer work orders, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Ensure all product is clean, wiped down before packing.
Ensure all parts, hardware and assembly instructions are included before packing.
Responsible for final inspection of product.
Facilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with ISO quality standards.
Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts to Lead Hand and Manager.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Reports any observed or potential hazards immediately.
Wear the proper PPE where required.
Helps with other functional areas as the need arises.
Follow Calstone Policies and Procedures.
Adherence to attendance policy (regular attendance)
Train co-workers as assigned.
All other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Ability to lift, up to 50lbs
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, and Managers.
- Ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.
