- Machine Setup & Operation:Setting up and operating specialized die-cutting equipment, including programming computer-controlled presses and installing dies according to job specifications.
- Production & Quality Control:Running jobs to precise specifications, verifying output, and ensuring the quality of finished products. This may involve using measuring tools and performing pre-production runs.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Performing routine maintenance on machinery, cleaning equipment and the workspace, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation.
- Material Handling & Finishing:Handling materials manually, loading and unloading machines, and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Safety Compliance:Adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Experience with die-cutting machinery preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent close vision.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks like standing, bending, and repetitive motions.
