We are recruiting a Deburrer Operator - General Labourer to join our team! Your position is responsible for the cleaning, removal of Foreign Object Debris from machined housings, lids, jigs and prototype parts.
Minimum Expectations:
- Good manual dexterity and good attention to detail
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work independently and resolve problems in order to A) maintain a safe work environment, B) meet quality requirements, and C) meet production schedules.
- Meet all yearly WHMIS safety training and certification requirements
- Meet daily and weekly throughput expectations as required by supervisor
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Duties:
- Work independently to produce clean, debris free parts as required
- Accurately resolve problems and issues that arise
- Comply with safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment
- Housekeeping - maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
- Complete travelers, process sheets at all stages of production
- Maintain a yearly rejection rate of less than 5%
Technical Skills:
Able to operate degreasing machines, ultrasonic degreaser and oven safely.
