Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated, results-driven Sales Representatives with deep industry connections in finish carpentry, doors/door hardware, cabinet hardware, or locksmithing. This role is ideal for sales professionals who thrive in a self-directed environment and possess proven expertise in B2B sales within the construction sector. Success in this role hinges on your ability to leverage existing relationships, generate new business opportunities, and deliver tailored hardware solutions (supply and installation) to contractors, builders, and related businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Relationship Building:

  • Actively leverage existing industry connections (contractors, finish carpenters, locksmiths, etc.) to drive sales of door, cabinet, and trim hardware.
  • Develop new B2B relationships if entering the market without prior connections (note: this will require significant initiative).

Sales Execution:

  • Provide expert guidance on hardware solutions, including technical specifications and installation support.
  • Close deals independently, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to final negotiation.

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Provide daily/weekly updates to leadership, detailing outreach efforts, client feedback, and closed deals.

Market Expertise:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in door/cabinet hardware.

Requirements:

Non-Negotiable:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in construction, finish carpentry, door hardware, cabinet hardware, or locksmithing.
  • Established network of contacts in the construction/hardware industry.
  • Technical knowledge of door/cabinet hardware products (supply and installation processes).
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals in a commission-driven environment.

Skills:

  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator capable of building trust with technical clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Trello preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background as a locksmith, finish carpenter, or door/cabinet hardware installer.
  • Multilingual (Spanish/English/French/Arabic/Mandarin, etc.) is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00-$500,000.00 per year
