Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Millwright to join their operations team. This is a hands-on role that involves maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
  
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies
  
• Complete documentation such as work orders, permits, and parts requisitions
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  
• Participate in team initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments as needed
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Requirements:

• Ontario or Inter-Provincial 433A Millwright Certificate (Full License) – Mandatory
  
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Basic computer skills
  
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in elevated areas (4 ft+)
  
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts with prior notice
  
• Comfortable working in environments with heat, cold, dust, noise, etc., using provided PPE
  
• Able to perform maintenance trades including electrical, machinist, welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems
  
• Experience with MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) and/or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is an asset
