Position Title: AWS Connect Engineer

Location: Remote

Overview:

Charter is currently seeking one (1) experienced AWS Connect Engineer to join our team starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on AWS Connect implementation, deployment, and customizing features to meet business needs. Previous experience supporting migrations from legacy contact center platforms (i.e., Genesys) to AWS Connect is a strong asset. Location: Remote. Term: 6 months. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on AWS Connect implementation, deployment, and customizing features to meet business needs.
• Previous experience supporting migrations from legacy contact center platforms (i.e., Genesys) to AWS Connect is a strong asset.
• Experience deploying and configuring AWS Connect Contact Centers
• Experience in contact flow design, routing profiles and queue setup, Lambda integration.
• Experience in AWS services, i.e., Amazon Lex, Polly, Lambda, Amazon S3 and Kinesis.
• Experience in scripting languages, i.e., Python, Node.js, Ruby
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Active industry certifications are an asset.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
