We're Hiring: Part-Time Pharmacist (With Full-Time Potential)
Downtown Hamilton, Ontario

We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate pharmacist to join our team in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Our independent pharmacy serves a loyal, niche clientele and is known for warm, patient-focused care. This is a part-time position with potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate who shares our values and vision.

What We're Looking For:

• A licensed pharmacist in good standing in Ontario

• Passion for community health and long-term patient relationships

• A team player who collaborates respectfully and communicates clearly

• Someone who can follow established systems while bringing thoughtful, fresh ideas

• Comfortable administering injections and vaccines

• Familiar with Prescribe IT and able to conduct minor ailment assessments

• Experience in compounding is a plus, but not required — we are a compounding pharmacy and happy to train

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking

• Looking for more than just a short-term role — we're building for the long term

Core Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations

• Administer injections and vaccines in accordance with Ontario guidelines

• Conduct minor ailment assessments and prescribe when appropriate

• Use Prescribe IT for managing digital prescriptions and provider communication

• Provide medication counseling, address patient questions, and support adherence

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential interactions

• Compound prescriptions as needed (training available)

• Advise physicians and other healthcare providers on drug interactions and treatment options

• Maintain records and support documentation compliance

• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

• Deliver care that is respectful, educational, and patient-focused
