Legend Boats is hiring!

Due to continued growth and strong seasonal demand, were looking to add an experienced DZ Class Driver to our established team in Whitefish, Ontario, on a seasonal full-time basis. This role supports our expanding operations and offers the potential for consistent full-time hours during peak periods.

Youll be coveringshort-haul routes across Ontario and Quebec, delivering boats to our valued dealer network. Most trips are single-day runs, though occasional overnight travel may be required. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, stable team where your experience and reliability are valued.

Compensation:

Starting at $23 - $27 per hour, based on experience.

The ideal candidate is:

• DZ Licensed with minimum 3 years experience, with a good driving record
• Able provide an original drivers abstract and CVOR
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Someone ready to work with team members and customers with a friendly, open, and professional demeanor
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as assist with loading and unloading at designated locations
• Safety conscious and able to confidently operate a ton pickup truck towing a 5th wheel gooseneck trailer

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure load is secure and safe for the road (ensure load is tied down properly)
• Deliver product to scheduled customers
• Ensure that all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn as directed for the work being conducted at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading in the yard or at dealer locations
• Perform the delivery function with excellent customer service skills
• Drive company equipment in a safe and defensive manner.
• Comply with all safety rules and procedures, and Ministry of Transportation laws
• Ensuring proper pre- and post-trip inspections are performed on both the truck and trailer
• Assist transportation team members to complete tasks
• Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
• Must maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record.
• Document information such as fuel usage, mileage driven and any problems encountered using a logbook or electronic device
• Report all defects with equipment within a timely manner to ensure equipment is road legal and safe for operation
