Our client is currently hiring Red Seal Carpenters or individuals with 5+ years of professional carpentry experience to join a reputable construction team in the Halifax area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

Location: Halifax Area, NS
Job Type: Permanent / Temporary to Permanent
Number of Positions: 2
Pay Rate: $25–$35 per hour
Shift Timings: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday half-days
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Construct, install, and repair wood structures, drywall, and various fixtures
• Use power tools and hand tools with precision and safety
• Work independently or collaboratively to complete job tasks on schedule
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and building codes

Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification OR 5+ years of verifiable carpentry experience
• Strong understanding of framing, finishing, and general carpentry
• Ability to work full days (Mon–Thu) and half-days on Friday
• Reliable transportation to Halifax job sites
• Safety-conscious with a strong work ethic
