Overview

The Control Panel Assembler will spend their time reading and interpreting drawings and schematics. Using basic and specific hand tools throughout the shift to complete the building tasks at hand. Building panels from start to finish with minimal supervision including some metal work, drilling, cutting, and filing of enclosures and backplates. Wiring panel and installing all components to complete the panel to be sent off to the QA and testing department.

What You Will Do

  • Work in a safe manner that does not place themselves or others at risk of injury.
  • Keeping track of work tools and materials need to complete build.
  • Keep workstations fully stocked with materials to maintain flow and production pace.
  • React and take immediate actions in case of changes in priority.
  • Quickly escalate any issues that could negatively affect productivity.
  • Being aware of surroundings and coworkers as to not put self or anyone in harms way.

Knowledge and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Material handling experience.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting electrical drawing and schematics.
  • 1-5 years experience working in an electrical assembly environment.
  • Knowledge of the parts and materials using in electrical control panels
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Good knowledge of standard manufacturing processes.
  • Able to use Microsoft Windows. Outlook. Word. and Excel
