About the Role:
The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is a key position within our interprofessional primary care team providing nursing care and medical administrative support. The successful candidate will provide direct clinical nursing services within their scope of practice while also supporting the efficient operation of the clinic through administrative and clerical tasks. This role is ideal for an RPN who thrives in a collaborative, client-centered, and community-focused environment and who brings strong organizational and communication skills to both patient care and office management.
What You Bring:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
- Completion of an RPN program from a recognized institution.
- Training or experience in Medical Office Administration preferred (certificate or equivalent work experience) an asset.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); experience with Telus Practice Solutions an asset.
- Certification in CPR (Level C) and current immunization record.
- At least 12 years of experience in a primary care, family health, or community clinic setting preferred. Excellent active listening, oral communication, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working with Indigenous communities and clients; ability to provide culturally safe care

Information About Working at BANAC Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin:
- Work is typically performed in clinic, office and community settings.
- Regular travel to meetings and communities, will be required vehicle an asset
- Regular overtime work may be required from time to time, BANAC team members enjoy a flex schedule agreement
- Periodic exposure to smoke may occur from the burning of sacred medicines: Tobacco, sweet grass, sage or cedar.
Specific employment conditions are specified in an employment contract with BANAC and include the following:
- Worksite location
- Valid C.P.R. and A.E.D. Certificates required
- Valid Class G Ontario Drivers License is required with clear check for vulnerable sector
