What I will be doing?

  • Act as a spotter to operators in tight or restricted areas, ensuring safe operations
  • Perform routine cleanup around client waste bins across city
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to Foreperson or Operations Manager to help prevent potential safety hazards
  • Adhere to all applicable Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Safe Job Procedures (SJP)
  • Complete and submit daily Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRA) to the Foreperson or designate as required
  • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used as required, including but not limited to; CSA Steel Toe boots, leather/rubber gloves, safety glasses/goggles, high visibility stripes, approved hard hat, and any additional PPE as required by site
  • Understand and adhere to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within all operational activities

What does Acden need from me?

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Clean drivers abstract in good standing
  • Have a "safety-first" attitude
  • Physically fit to perform the labour intensive work as required
What are the "nice to haves"?
  • Valid OSSA Oil Sands, CSTS-09 or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO Certificate
