BIMM is booming, so we're looking for a Vendor Manager to join our team!
As we observe a hybrid model, this role will require you to be in office at BIMM HQ (Distillery District) up to 2 days per week.
Who we are
BIMM is a Toronto-based agency that lives at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity to provide clients with high-performing campaigns and digital products that shape connected customer experiences. We've helped our clients implement fully integrated CRM customer journeys, built robust digital experiences, and created national loyalty programs with decades of experience in sectors of automotive, financial, telco and retail.
We are creative realists, which means our ideas and solutions are grounded in the realities of our clients' business. We believe big ideas are nothing without big results (and flawless execution); high-performing agencies deliver high-performing campaigns, products, and experiences; and the best solutions happen when we collaborate with clients as partners.
Who we're looking for
The Vendor Manager is the single point of contact for all external staffing partners that supply near‑shore and offshore talent to our digital agency. The role owns the full vendor lifecycle—from sourcing, contracting and renewal—and ensures that every partner's terms, service levels, and rate cards are standardized, compliant, and cost‑effective. Working closely with Operations, HR, Client Services, and Finance, the Vendor Manager translates forecasted resource demand into timely, scalable capacity while protecting margin, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Contracting
- Draft, negotiate, and execute MSAs, SOWs, rate cards, and change orders for ~5 near/offshore vendors.
- Source and negotiate contracts with new offshore vendors in new regions, as required.
- Align termination, IP ownership, data‑privacy, and security clauses across all agreements.
- Run annual benchmarking to validate pricing and capability competitiveness.
Performance & Risk Governance
- Define vendor scorecards covering utilization, SLA adherence, and innovation initiatives.
- Chair quarterly business reviews (QBRs); track corrective actions.
- Monitor geopolitical, compliance, and FX risks in vendor regions; drive mitigation plans.
Resource Management Support
- Convert quarterly delivery forecasts into reserved headcount blocks or flex‑capacity ramps.
- Coordinate onboarding/off‑boarding, background checks, and asset provisioning with IT & HR.
- Ongoing management of employee contracts including extensions, terminations and adjustments.
Financial Stewardship
- Approve time/cost sheets; reconcile against purchase orders; resolve billing disputes.
- Deliver monthly variance analysis and savings/avoidance reporting to Finance.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Advise Client Service teams during pitch phase on vendor sourcing strategies.
- Provide legal/compliance briefings to execs on new territories or regulatory shifts.
- Run enablement sessions for delivery managers on "how to work with vendors effectively."
Requirements
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Project Management, HR or related field
- 5‑7 years in vendor or procurement management, at least 2 years with near/offshore staffing in digital marketing, ad‑tech, or IT services.
- Demonstrated experience with business, advertising, project management and Human Resources as asset.
- Demonstrated success negotiating MSAs across LATAM, EMEA, or APAC.
- One or more: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), or Sourcing Industry Group (SIG) certification.
- Formal Agile or PMP training (for project governance).
- Strong Excel & contract‑lifecycle‑management (CLM) skills.
- Commercial acumen and cost‑modeling proficiency.
- Diplomatic negotiator able to balance relationships with aggressive savings targets.
- Analytical storyteller—turns utilization data into clear recommendations.
- Fluent English required; Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred for LATAM partners.
