CNC Programmer

Location: Wallacebrg, Canada.

Pay Range: $25-$30 CAD/hr.
Shift: 7:00 AM Start | 9-Hour Shifts
Full-Time | OT Eligible After 44 Hours

PrideNow is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role focuses on programming 3-axis and 3+2 axis (5-axis) CNC machines using Autodesk PowerMill, in collaboration with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program 3-axis CNC machines with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Create and optimize 3+2 axis (5-axis) toolpaths with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Use Autodesk PowerMill to generate roughing, semifinishing, and finishing toolpaths.
• Read and interpret blueprints and 3D CAD models provided by overseas design/tooling teams.
• Apply limiting boundaries and efficient strategies to reduce manual edits.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience (3-axis) and 2+ years in 3+2 (5-axis).
• Proficiency in Autodesk PowerMill is required; experience with PowerShape is a strong asset.
• Solid knowledge of toolpath strategies, cutting tool parameters, and materials.
