Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. The Journeyman Plumber must be licensed in [State/Province] and demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures including water heaters, drainage systems, and more.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine effective solutions.
• Ensure work complies with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on job sites.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings.
• Respond to service calls and emergency plumbing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Train and oversee apprentices or helpers as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have Valid Journeyman Red Seal Plumber license.
• Must have Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a variety of environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in residential renovations and new construction
• Certification in backflow prevention, gas fitting, or other specialties.
• OSHA or other safety certifications.

Working Conditions:

• May work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Frequently required to stand, kneel, crawl, or climb ladders.
• May be on call for after-hours emergency service.
