Job Title: Project Coordinator
Reporting directly to the Project Engineer, the Project Coordinator will support project engineering activities within the Engineering & Construction team. This role involves a blend of administrative duties, project coordination, and engineering support, playing a critical role in ensuring project efficiency and effective communication across teams.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Project Coordination:
- Actively engage and provide day-to-day support to the Engineering & Construction team.
- Assist with the coordination of engineering activities to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Expedite and follow up on engineering documentation and drawings.
- Support the preparation and tracking of Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Assist in the development and organization of procurement and contract packages as required,
- Track and follow up on project deliverables and key milestones.
- Support monthly cost control processes, including forecast updates and cost reporting.
- Assist in organizing and supporting project meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and action item follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for project activities, engineering records, and correspondence.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform general administrative support including document filing, formatting, and distribution.
- Coordinate with document control as required while ensuring proper version control and archiving of technical and project documents.
- Maintain and update internal tracking systems and shared project folders.
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.
The Ideal CandidateEducation / Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in engineering technology, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience / Skills
- A minimum of four years of experience in a project coordination or engineering support role.
- Collaborative team player with an exceptionally proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction terminology and workflows.
- Experience with cost control and forecasting tools.
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and comfortable making recommendations.
- Capability to work in a self-directed manner and possess good time management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to support reporting, and communication between various stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and ability to work with minimal guidance (Must be self-directed).
Work Location & Conditions
This is a hybrid-based job, requiring the individual to travel to Skeena's Corporate office located in Vancouver. There may be a need for occasional travel to our mine site (located within the Coast Mountains of Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory) on as needed basis.
Additionally, the job is in a fast paced, and at times stressful working environment, with having to manage multiple competing priorities.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is CA$60,000 - CA$90,000, in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are guidelines, and any job offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience.
