Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting manuals, reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Assist to maintain and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
• Operating hoisting and lifting devices as necessary during the repair of machinery
• Working under supervision, and with others to solve mechanical and technical problems
• Ability to understand work instructions and use sound judgment where needed to perform assigned tasks
• Communicating and explaining to others what needs to be done
• Working accurately with numbers, and on occasion doing basic drawings of machine parts
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
• Using welding equipment, hand and power tools as necessary
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance work
• Observing safety in accordance with government and company standards
• Writing maintenance reports

Experience:

• 1 or more years experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
• 2 years of Forklift experience
• Bobcat certificate is an asset
