We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team with deep expertise in digital marketing and taking
prospects through a consultative buying journey. This role will interface with senior leaders and marketers in the banking and fintech sectors and will be responsible for driving new business growth by owning the entire journey for prospective clients seeking affiliate marketing solutions.

This individual will build strong relationships with prospective clients, craft compelling presentations, and offer thought leadership that aligns our services with their business needs. This role will work closely with senior leadership, marketing, client services and onboarding teams to ensure an efficient path from initial interest to launch.

The Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Prospect Nurturing:
    Identify, engage, and nurture prospects in the banking, fintech, and broader financial services market. Build strong relationships that move prospects through the buying journey.
  • Consultative Selling & Strategy: Take a consultative approach to understand each prospects unique needs and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Pitch Development & Presentation: Create and present compelling pitch decks, strategic plans and sales materials that demonstrate our expertise in affiliate marketing, banking, and fintech.
  • Closing Deals & Relationship Management: Work with internal teams to develop proposals and contracts that meet client needs and secure deals. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, from initial engagement to deal closure.
  • Thought Leadership & Expertise: Serve as an industry expert by staying up-to-date on affiliate marketing trends and the financial services sector. Use this knowledge to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, onboarding, and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of services once a deal is closed.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key metrics, providing visibility into your sales pipeline, progress toward targets, and client engagement levels.

The Qualifications:

    • Proven Experience in Digital Marketing Agency Services: You must have a strong background in digital marketing and experience crafting and presenting marketing strategies.
    • Consultative Experience:
      Demonstrable experience
      understanding client needs and ability to develop tailored solutions, and guide prospects toward making informed decisions.
    • Exceptional Communication Skills: You should be highly skilled at communicating with senior leaders, both in writing (proposals, strategy decks, emails) and verbally (prospect meetings, presentations).
    • Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and ensure efficient delivery and follow-through.
    • Personal Characteristics: You should be personable, empathetic, and an excellent listener who builds strong relationships. You should be able to adapt your communication style based on the needs and preferences of different clients.
    Preferred:
    • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or marketing strategy.
    • A background in marketing agency work, especially in a consultative, client-facing role.
    • Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms and tools used within the industry.
    • Proficiency working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms)
