Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is a co-ed independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. Our school provides an exceptional educational experience for students from age three to Grade 12 that focuses on providing robust academics, promoting healthy social and emotional development, and utilizing student-centred, inquiry-based learning.

Bus Drivers
Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 3:15 pm - 5:00 pm
On-call positions also available
Work term: September - June
Position Overview:
In this role, you will drive a small fleet of GNS vehicles, including the Schools 24-passenger bus, safely transporting students to and from school, as well as to various school related events and activities. You will perform vehicle safety inspections, keep accurate and complete documentation for all vehicle use, and work with appropriate personnel to ensure that school and government regulations are adhered to.
What Youll Bring
You will possess, at minimum, a valid B.C. unrestricted Class 4 drivers license, a clear drivers abstract and have five (5) years of related driving experience working with children and the public. You will have exceptional customer service skills and a positive and friendly interpersonal style to make connections with teachers, volunteers and children of all ages. Successful completion of a criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening is required.
