Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our Manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Technologist. The primary responsibility for this position involves immunoprinting on nitrocellulose membranes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform immunoprinting on nitrocellulose membranes using a Biodot© device.
• Conduct BioDot cleaning functions and verification processes.
• Carry out visual inspections of printed membranes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Adhere to good laboratory practices and follow company standards based on MDSAP, cGMP and ISO 13485.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by performing cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
• Generate and maintain required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow strict protocols and procedures as established by MedMira.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards.
• Dependable, reliable, and well-organized, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic science background with 1-2 years of related experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.

Additional Requirements:

• Good eyesight and the ability to perform tasks in a seated environment for extended periods
• Must be a permanent resident of Canada
• Reliable transportation is preferred
• Expectation of shift work
