We are currently looking for passionate, energetic full time and part time servers to join our team at Wimpy's Diner opening in Newmarket! We are a family style diner serving up delicious all day breakfast, lunch and dinner! The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience in fast paced restaurants as well as a customer focused approach. Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat all guests with a warming, friendly welcome
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into point of sales system
• Prepare and serve various types of hot and cold beverages
• Deliver food and beverages to guests with efficiency and in a timely manner
• Prepare and package all takeout orders including over the phone placed orders, UberEats and DoorDash orders
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace including dining area, servery and washrooms
• Answer all menu related questions guests may have as well as handle any guest complaints in a professional manner
• Process all transactions including debit, credit and cash methods of payment
• Follow all restaurant policies as well as smart serve and food handlers guidelines
• Work and cooperate with everyone on team including fellow servers, kitchen staff and management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Smart Serve Certification
• Food Handlers Certification
• First aid and CPR certification considered an asset
