The Parts Coordinator increases the efficiency of the store by ensuring product parts are received, controlled and delivered to appropriate technicians as needed. We are currently looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication and administrative skills.
Accountability & Responsibility of Position:
- Receive all product parts and verify Orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Compare vendor invoices with Parts and mirror match parts.
- Read and understand the estimate to ensure accuracy of parts received and ordered.
- Participate in daily production/release meetings.
- Mark and store all received parts in an appropriate location with the proper work order number.
- Check items for return and ensure return slip is received for credit.
- Check daily on the status of incoming parts for the next day's orders.
- Communicate with Production and Management Staff.
- Enter and scan all payable invoices.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Has a valid status in Canada and can work for any employer.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Knowledgeable of computer software and systems used in body shops for Parts Order.
- Work independently without close supervision.
- Works well with others & a positive attitude.
- Flexible/adaptable to constant change.
- Highly organized; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work under own initiative.
- Strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Works well under pressure.
- Must have a valid status in Canada; sponsorship is not available.
