Some of What You'll Do In This Role Includes:
- Manage the planning, execution, and close-out of multiple capital projects of varying scale and complexity
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure projects comply with safety, environmental, and food quality standards at all phases
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external contractors, consultants, and vendors
- Oversee contractor performance on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and work quality
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including charters, capital expenditure requests, drawings, and commissioning records
- Track and report on budgets, progress, risks, scope changes, and deliverables to project stakeholders
- Support updates to layout drawings, P&IDs, and schematics post-project completion
- Integrate EHS and Quality standards into every phase of project design and delivery
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Collaborative with experience working across union and non-union teams
- Critical thinker with a practical, solutions-focused mindset for older infrastructure
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works with autonomy
- Brings 2–3 years of relevant Canadian engineering or project experience
- Capital project management (CAPEX)
- Budget and cost control
- Environmental and ESG focus
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and project scheduling tools
- Experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments
- Background in construction or facilities project execution
- PMP or CAPM certification
- Candidates with broad infrastructure, site development, and cross-functional project experience will be prioritized
