Plumbhartt Heating and Plumbing is a family-owned company providing exceptional plumbing and heating services across the Metro Vancouver area. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman to join our growing team. This full-time position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every job.
As a key member of our team, you will work on both residential and commercial projects, performing a wide range of plumbing services. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage tasks independently while maintaining accurate job records in Jobber are essential. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys problem-solving, and values being part of a supportive and professional team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlumbing Services:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, and venting systems.
Complete rough-ins, stack work, and finishing for residential and commercial projects.
Perform drain cleaning, pipe repairs, and fixture installations with precision and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, ensuring work complies with the BC Plumbing Code.
Install and service gas lines and appliances where licensed.
Internal Communications & Reporting
Report directly to Hassan and Drew regarding job status, unforeseen issues, and material or labor needs to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.
Maintain consistent communication with both Drew and Hassan to align on daily work priorities, upcoming job assignments, and any adjustments to job scope.
Follow up with management regarding warranty concerns, deficiencies, or customer feedback to ensure the team delivers on quality expectations.
Participate in scheduled check-ins and team meetings as needed.
Use of Jobber Software:
Maintain detailed and up-to-date Jobber notes for each job, including progress, materials used, and follow-up items.
Upload job site photos and relevant documentation into Jobber for accurate record-keeping.
Log time entries, update job status, and communicate essential job information through Jobber.
Report any warranty concerns or deficiencies through Jobber promptly.
Client Communication:
Interact with clients in a professional, respectful manner on-site.
Clearly explain work completed and answer any general customer questions.
Ensure job sites are cleaned and organized at the end of each job.
Tools, Equipment, and Safety:
Supply and maintain your own set of hand and power tools required to complete plumbing tasks.
Operate tools and equipment safely, performing regular maintenance checks.
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
Report any accidents or vehicle damages to the Office Manager immediately and complete required incident documentation.
Other duties as assigned by the company.
