Job Title: Liquor Store Supervisor (Night)

Located in the heart of downtown Victoria, the Strath Liquor Merchants is looking for an experienced evening supervisor to join our team of knowledgeable liquor industry professionals. In the store we foster a knowledge-based environment, striving to offer top-notch product information to our varied clientele. This Supervisor position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the operation, management, and maintenance of the store.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working with company management to maintain a high level of customer service, professionalism, and customer confidence within the store
• Maintaining store cleanliness by ensuring all cleaning schedules are completed in a timely manner and all cleaning policies are followed
• Assisting store management by ensuring all products are merchandised in a clear and accessible manner
• Assisting store management by ensuring all product is received and stored according to company policy
• Assisting with price verification and procedures to ensure all products are recorded in the inventory system and scanning correctly
• Responsible for supervision, and co-ordination of activities for sales associates
• Trains staff on company policies and procedures, enforces policies and monitors staff performance
• Resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Effectively working with our Security Team to ensure loss prevention and workplace safety
• Performing other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Necessary Experience:

• Previous cashier and customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, such as retail, hospitality, or food services (2+ years)
• Previous experience in the Liquor Industry (minimum 1 year)
• Strong base of Wine/Spirits/Beer knowledge, and a desire to learn more
• Proficiency at solving problems efficiently and effectively
• Availability to work weekend / evening shifts
• Valid Serving It Right certification
• 19+ Years of Age
