Account Manager
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our audiovisual and collaboration solutions client to find a first class Account Manager to join their team in a client-facing, business development capacity. The primary responsibility of this role will be to exceed sales revenue goals by building new client relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and delivering tailored AV and collaboration solutions across various sectors including education, enterprise, esports, and professional services.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Prospect and connect with clients in need of audiovisual, collaboration, conferencing, and digital signage systems.
• Work with design and engineering teams to develop custom AV solutions that meet client requirements and internal standards.
• Respond to RFPs and RFQs and create compelling proposals that lead to successful sales closures.
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and contract renewals.
• Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns targeting key verticals.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and complete manufacturer training as required.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure project expectations are clearly communicated and delivered.
• Track client interactions, pipeline activity, and contract statuses in internal systems.

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• Previous sales experience, ideally in AV, IT, or technology services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and client-focused.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tracking tools.
• AVIXA CTS certification is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Must be able to obtain Government Security clearance.
