About the Role
As our Business Development Associate, you will:
- Work side-by-side with Directors of Business Development and the Vice President, Marketing & Business Development, for on-the-job experience and mentorship.
- Attend industry events, networking evenings, and social functions, building connections with emerging leaders in architecture, design, and consulting.
- Collaborate with our experienced proposal team to help develop winning submissions and presentations.
- Proactively call on and foster relationships with junior designers, architects, and potential clients.
- Learn the ins and outs of the construction and real estate industry from the ground upno previous sector experience required!
- Assist with market outreach strategies, event planning, and maintaining business development resources.
What Were Looking For
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative; a go-getter attitude matters most!
- University or college education (all majors welcome; business, marketing, communications, or related fields an asset).
- 13 years of work experience in a sales, marketing, customer-facing, or client engagement role (internships count).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable attending events, making introductions, and developing a professional network.
- Team-oriented but able to work independently when required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
