We are currently recruiting for our client in the North part of Guelph for a General Labourer with metal fabrication experience. This position has potential for permanent long-term employment. This position is not open for students at this time. This is a day shift where you will be working the hours of 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Rate of pay is dependent on experience.

• Individuals to help with grinding, pulling parts, sanding, cleaning.
• Must be fit due to the lifting involved and have factory experience.
• Sanding: using a grinder or loading parts into an automatic sanding unit.
• Working in the shipping area, pulling product to bring to the line, counting parts. Heavy lifting.
• Helping to pull parts or load parts.
• Could be cleaning up the warehouse and debris.
• Could also be doing some painting and various odd jobs around the warehouse. Painting racks and tables with a paint brush and roller.
• Can be lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
• Spot welding clips and nuts on parts. The weight of most parts is under 6 lbs.
• Pemming: this is pressing in nuts and bolts on a machine. The weight of most parts is under 4 lbs.
• Cleaning the plant, sweeping, removing garbage.
