Description
ActiveState is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Demand Generation Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in marketing, eager to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our Software Supply Chain Security platform. You will play a supportive role in driving our Top of Funnel growth by assisting with the development, execution, and analysis of demand generation initiatives.
This is a 100% remote position from anywhere in North America
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Demand Generation Campaigns: Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of various demand generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital advertising, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and virtual events.
  • Campaign Execution: Support the day-to-day execution of demand generation activities, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and according to plan.
  • Marketing Tools Assistance: Help manage and leverage existing marketing automation tools and CRM systems under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting: Assist in tracking, organizing, and preparing reports on the performance of demand generation campaigns using analytics tools and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify Opportunities: Support the identification of new approaches and opportunities to generate qualified leads, assisting in translating these ideas into actionable projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams such as Creative, Product, Sales, and Brand to ensure cohesive campaign execution and audience engagement.
  • Learn & Grow: Stay informed about the latest demand generation industry trends, platforms, and technologies, actively seeking opportunities to learn and apply new knowledge.

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in demand generation, lead generation, and user/customer acquisition, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand-generation campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.

  • Strong understanding of opensource, developer, and IT audiences, with the ability to create targeted messaging and content
