Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role combines technical expertise with strategic sales capabilities. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to convert complex customer requirements into actionable proposals and help drive business growth in both existing and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer needs and develop tailored fabrication solutions.

  • Interpret RFPs, RFQs, technical drawings, and bid packages accurately.

  • Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and estimating teams to prepare competitive proposals.

  • Translate technical details into compelling sales documents and presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and procurement contacts.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industries.

  • Support pricing strategies and contribute to the creation of custom value propositions.

  • Ensure seamless handoff of awarded projects to the production team with clear scope and deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or within fabrication-focused industries.

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, machining, forming, and assembly.

  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and bid documentation.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is a plus.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales or procurement experience within automotive, mining, packaging, or material handling sectors.

  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
