Amsted Automotive (Transform Automotive Canada Ltd.), London, Ontario, is looking for a Tool and Die Maker (Midnight shift) capable of operating all production and related equipment in the department, consistently meeting quality, safety and production expectations.

- Responsible for operation, set up, repair, maintenance, construction of production tooling including lathe chucks, flow form, and press.
- Utilize written and oral communication internal and externally of the organization to contribute to department Goals and Objectives
- Contribute to the company 5S, and Elimination of Waste initiatives.
- Follow ECN process for design change proposals
- Responsible for the safe operation, organization, and maintenance of all Tool Room equipment
- Responsible to troubleshoot, carry out preventative maintenance as scheduled / required on various types of tooling and related equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Responsible to participate in team activities and perform duties safely in manner that reflects sense of “urgency” with respect to meeting deadlines and goals
- Responsible for the maintaining of tool tracking data including, but not limited to dies, CNC lathes, WF
- Ensure compliance to IATF 16949, ISO14001, and customer specific requirements
- Rotating shift work / overtime as required to meet customer demands and ensure a smooth flow of operations
- Effective interpersonal / communication skills required internally (within own department and others) and externally (suppliers and customers)
- Complete work assignments with accuracy, sense of urgency, and in a safe manner in accordance with established standards, and all applicable Regulations / Legislation
