What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage Canadian tax planning and compliance engagements for corporations, individuals, partnerships, and trusts
- Identify and advise on tax minimization strategies and planning opportunities for clients
- Review tax returns, technical memos, and correspondence prepared by staff for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with internal teams and legal counsel to deliver cohesive tax strategies and documentation
- Support new business initiatives through proposals and client relationship development
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation and communicate its impact to clients and colleagues
Who You Are
- A CPA in good standing with 4-6 years of experience in tax, ideally within a public accounting environment
- Completed or currently enrolled in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program
- Strong technical writing and research capabilities using electronic tax tools and databases
- Skilled communicator who is confident interacting with clients, peers, and partners alike
- A self-motivated professional with a desire to take ownership of your work and contribute to firm growth
