Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CMM Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality and precision of manufactured components. This role requires a strong understanding of measurement techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The CMM Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality assurance within our production processes.
Responsibilities:

• Program and operate a CMM (Utilizing GEOPACK, COSMOS, and CAT 1000 Software).
• Ability to inspect and measure machine parts to close tolerance (With the use of thread gages, height gages, verniers, bore gages, micrometers, and protractors).
• Must have a full understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Be proficient at all aspects of FAI per ‘AS9102'.
• Scan jobs in Jobboss software and fill out the traveler once the job has been inspected.
• Document measurements.
• All other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Experience:

• Proficiency in programming and operating CMMs with a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with software tools such as .NET, SQL, MySQL, AWS, Azure, and Linux is advantageous.
• Experience in an Agile development environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of C# programming language and APIs is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
