Our client is looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst (SFA), on a 9-month contract, with strong accounting experience, to join a dynamic and mission-driven non-profit organization. This role is ideal for someone at the mid-career level – solid and experienced. The right candidate will be independent, proactive, and capable of stepping into a fast-paced environment with minimal handholding

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations
• Support the Controller with month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with audits
• Work cross-functionally within the organization to support financial accuracy and integrity
• Help improve and maintain accounting processes

TMGCT

• CPA Designation Required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with IFRS 17 (Strong Asset)
• Strong general ledger and reconciliation skills
• Experience in a non-profit and/or midsize organization is highly preferred
• Insurance industry experience and take initiative
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• Strong systems orientation – comfort with learning and adapting to new tools
