Day in the Life
As a service technician at Grill Hero, you'll be on the front lines, delivering professional cleaning services that uphold our reputation as the top grill cleaning and servicing company in North America. You'll interact directly with customers, provide exceptional service, and identify opportunities to enhance their experience with upselling and rebooking. This is an entry-level technician role that offers hands-on training and the chance to grow rapidly within the company.

Core Responsibilities
Advanced Service Delivery
- Perform deep cleaning, servicing, and diagnostics for barbecues, ovens, and related add-ons
- Handle minor repairs, part replacements, and troubleshoot performance issues
- Uphold and refine our SOPs, ensuring service excellence and safety
Customer Experience & Sales
- Act as a brand ambassador at every job
- Build rapport, educate customers, and identify opportunities for upselling and rebooking
- Train and coach junior or seasonal technicians
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain daily job efficiency and cleanliness standards
- Escalate and resolve service issues professionally
- Follow all company guidelines and safety procedures
Win
You're Great At:
- Have 2+ years of technical field service experience (appliance, HVAC, mechanical, or similar)
- Thrive in customer-facing roles and can confidently lead conversations
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable with power tools
- Have strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety
- Are organized, punctual, and work well independently
- Are open to training, coaching others, and leading by example
- Are physically able to complete repetitive manual work (lifting, kneeling, etc.)
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Customer service
- 1+ year of technical experience and or aptitude is an asset but not required (training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow core processes and procedures
